Arian Foster has already made his feelings known about Thursday Night Football and he spoke out again on Monday.
"Thurs night football is annoying for players. I don't know 1 player who likes it. I don't know any fans who like it," Arian Foster #Texans

Foster is asked if he thinks it's hypocritical of the league to emphasize safety while having Thurs night games. He says yes. #Texans

The Texans suffered a tough loss against Dallas in overtime and take on division rival Indianapolis on Thursday on a short week of rest and preparation. When asked if Foster had taken his complaints to the players union, he had this to say:
"The union and the league is kind of the same thing, man. They gonna do what they told." Foster, on if union should do something about TNF.

As a former player, I get where Foster is coming from. Football is brutal on the body and playing on a short week after an overtime thriller probably doesn’t make a lot of players happy. A lot of players will still be recovering from bumps and bruises from Sunday and have to get on the plane and travel for a game on Wednesday, players need time to rehab and recover. For a league trying to find new ways to look after the safety of their players, this is very hypocritical. With the way Thursday night games have been playing out, I wonder if the NFL will continue to trot out teams on a short amount of rest only for the game to be a snoozefest.
