Not good news for the New England Patriots pass rush.
According to Shalise Manza-Young of the Boston Globe, defensive-end and sack leader (4.5) Chandler Jones will be on the shelf for about a month after missing today’s practice with a hip injury.

This is definitely not welcome news for a Patriots team who’s slated to face Jay Cutler of the Bears, Peyton Manning’s Broncos, and a red-hot Andrew Luck-led Colts passing attack all within that time frame. Earlier today free-agent defensive lineman Alan Branch along with Titans linebacker Akeem Ayers (via trade) were brought in to help reinforce a Patriots defense that is clearly in need.
