head coach Bill O’Brien discussed Clowney’s down rookie season and the pressures that he’s had to face while dealing with injuries.
“I’m not sure about his playing status for this week,” head coach Bill O’Brien said on Monday. “But I do want to say that this guy has worked extremely hard to recover from injures.”
“He has had a sports hernia, a concussion, and now he is dealing with a knee injury,” O’Brien said. “Those things are not easy in your rookie year. He is in there working extremely hard to get better.”
