Jordan Brand and Carmelo Anthony teamed up on Monday night to honor Anthony’s 12th season in the NBA with the release of his 11th signature shoe, the Melo M11.
The Melo M11 includes the FlightPlate, the latest Jordan technology.
From Nike News:
“Designed to harness and return energy from every step for explosive liftoff, FlightPlate features a moderator plate placed directly over the forefoot Nike Zoom unit to create a larger sweet spot and ample cushioning. On the shoe’s upper, a molded collar optimizes fit and enhances ankle support for Anthony’s versatile game.”
The shoe honors Anthony’s New York roots and comes in four colorways: the Concrete Island, Jordan Family, Red Hook Sunset and Black/Gold.
"Based on the sunset I saw when I was growing up, we decided to name this colorway 'Red Hook Sunset'." #Melo11 pic.twitter.com/9nxcauf2Ir
