There should be more than 90K fans packed in to the Rose Bowl to watch Oregon and FSU duel in a hyped matchup. No one in the building will have the same kind of vested interest as Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht.
While not being allowed to formally comment on the two lead combatants in the ballgame, Licht and the Bucs will be watching Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston closely.
Tampa Bay owns the No.1 pick in the NFL Draft and will likely select one of two players.
“It’s two powerhouses, in the Rose Bowl, vast amounts of NFL talent on the field, two Heisman guys,” Licht said, via Martin Fennelly of the Tampa Tribune. “It has everything. I can’t wait. I’m pumped. It’ll be like when I was a kid, going to my first college game with my dad.”
