“DeflateGate” is a word that has been token with the findings that 11 of 12 balls were under inflated for the AFC Championship game featuring the Colts v. Patriots. Some critics have called for Belichick to be fired or even for the Patriots to be removed from the Super Bowl. While no punishments have been handed down by the NFL, Colts Dwayne Allen thinks that despite anything that may have happened, the Colts have to do more as a team to win games.
@NFLonFOX not a story. They could have played with soap for balls and beat us. Simply the better team. We have to continue to build! #BTM

Allen is right. The officials supposedly removed the deflated balls at halftime, giving the Colts the opportunity to turn things around and win the game but they didn’t. Will the NFL hand down some repercussions on the Patriots and their faculty? Who knows. I’m sure they are waiting until after the Super Bowl to announce.
