Last night’s Royal Rumble match was one of the worst-received matches in WWE history. It sparked a worldwide trend encouraging people to cancel the WWE Network and was pretty much unanimously labelled horrendous by fans everywhere.
One of the weirder parts of the match was Curtis Axel getting tossed aside by Erick Rowan as he made his way to the ring. Axel never officially was eliminated because he never actually made it into the squared circle. So naturally, Axel has taken to Twitter to proclaim his Royal Rumble victory and demand his title match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31.
Got jumped by lamb-guy & lose my spot in the #RoyalRumble? Never eliminated! I'm your winner dammit! I want @BrockLesnar at #WrestleMania!

His complaints didn’t go unnoticed either as the WWE Universe rallied behind Axel as a way of sticking it to WWE.

WWE being WWE and wrestling rules being as shady as they are, this will either go unmentioned or will likely get a quick joke segment. Regardless, technically Axel isn’t wrong.
With how badly Roman Reigns win was received last night, fans everywhere might actually get more excited for a Curtis Axel-Brock Lesnar match at this point.
