Stephen A. Smith recently renewed his contract with ESPN to continue his shouting duel with Skip Bayless on ESPN First Take. Now ESPN’s Jim Miller is reporting on twitter that his new deal will be worth more than $3 million dollars a year. Let’s just pause for a minute. THREE MILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY.
Enough to make you a Bolshevik: @stephenasmith new deal with @espn has him in $3.1 million to 3.5 range annually.

With Stephen A Smith new contract he will make more than Russell Wilson. Wilson only made $817,302 this past season. The average NFL player only makes $1.9 million per year. With $3 million dollars annually he will make on par with MLB players who on average make $3.2 million, NHL players $2.4 million. He will get paid more money to talk about people playing the sport then actually playing the sport. Can’t hate the playa, hustle hard Stephen A.
