The injury should not require surgery, so that is good news for the Bulls. The bad news is now they have to manage the next month of the playoff hunt without both of their starting backcourt members. Butler is in the midst of his breakout season averaging: 20.2 points per game, 5.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists on 46% FG percentage. This big year will bode well for Butler’s impending free-agency this summer.
