Chip Kelly may have the master plan all along. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Tim Tebow will work out for Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles today. Tebow was the master of the spread system during his tenure as the QB of the University of Florida. While at Florida, Tebow won 2 National Championships and the Heisman Trophy. Tebow than spent his first 2 seasons in Denver, after Josh McDaniels drafted him with a first round pick, when no other draft expert or franchise thought that he should have gone that high. Tebow responded by going 7-3 as a starter in 2012, leading the Broncos to the playoffs and even upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the playoffs that season. In turn, the broncos responded by shipping Tebow out of town for future Hall-of-Famer, Peyton Manning. Tebow than bounced around with short stints as a NY Jet and New England Patriot, until ultimately ending up as a college football broadcaster for ESPN. This may all be a bunch of smoke coming from the Eagles, but if there was any coach left in the NFL who could use Tebow in any capacity, it would have to be the offensive guru Chip Kelly.
Well, how about this: Former Broncos and Patriots QB Tim Tebow is working out today for the Philadelphia Eagles, a source confirmed.
