These young Wildcats made history, but it will all be for nothing if they don’t win the SEC Tournament — and most importantly the National Championship.
The Kentucky Wildcats beat Florida 67-50 at Rupp Arena on Saturday afternoon to make their perfect season official and move to 31-0.
They become the second team in school history to win every game during the regular season, matching the 1953-54 team that was ineligible for the NCAA Tournament.

Kentucky is the team from a Power 5 conference since Indiana in 1975-76 to head into its league tournament without a loss. That Hoosiers team is famous for being the last one in men’s college hoops to run the table and win a championship without a loss.
“I’m really proud of this team,” Calipari said on CBS afterward. “They were worried about winning every game, but this team is resilient, and the good news is, we’ve got enough guys. We have enough room to try and figure it out.”
