By now we all know that Brock Lesnar has decided to stay with the WWE and forgo a second shot at the UFC.
It’s hard to top an offer where Brock is getting huge money to wrestle 10x a year but the UFC didn’t go down without giving it their all to bring Lesnar back to the octagon.
“Lorenzo said to me, ‘Can we sharpen our pencil? Can we double it'” Lesnar said. “I said, ‘It’s not about that. I’m calling you to tell you where my heart is, and it’s not about the money.’
“And then in the back of my mind, I’m thinking, ‘Well, yeah, it is about the money, but I don’t have to beat myself up for it.’ To prepare for another MMA fight, we’re talking 16, 18 weeks of pure hell, and then the cage door shuts and it’s on.”
UFC President Dana White was very accepting of Lesnar’s decision and he made it clear that he and the UFC appreciated Lesnar’s professionalism.
“I’m happy for him,” White told FOX Sports. “He was always a standup guy. I knew about this three hours ago. He called us and let us know. From what I understand Vince [McMahon] made him a deal that he couldn’t refuse, which is awesome. I’m happy to hear that. I’m happy for both of them.”

I think Brock made the best decision for himself. No need to put your body through unnecessary wear and tear. HE’s held the UFC title before, there’s nothing else for him to accomplish in the sport of MMA.
