The Rock & Ronda Rousey Silence the Authority
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are out in the middle of the ring talking about how large the WWE Universe is, and how it wouldn’t be possible without… Steph and Trips. Hunter grabs the mic and says not only did he beat Sting, he feels like he beat everyone against them. Trips feels like he beat everyone in attendance and the millions of people around the world. HHH says the fact is, he owns Sting, just like him and Steph own every Superstar and every Diva back there and just like they own all of us. Triple H says that like it or not, the Authority always wins.
IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLL…. WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!!!
The Rock is at Wrestlemania!
The crowd absolutely explodes as the former champ interrupts the Authority. Triple H has a confused look on his face as Rock hits the ring and grabs a mic and the two stare each other down. Rock cracks a smile and then tells Triple H he doesn’t own the WWE Universe, and he damn sure doesn’t own the Rock. He tells Triple H he comes out and runs his mouth and Trips fails to realize that the Rock was born in the Eastbay, which happens to be where ‘Mania is taking place.
Rocky says they have two choices, Triple H can go to the back and dress like Terminator again. Or they can create a Wrestlemania moment right here, right now. The Rock steps face-to-face with Trips and HHH says they had a hell of a rivalry that he remembers kicking the Rock’s ass for most of it and he has nothing to prove to him.
Rocky says just like he left his heart in San Francisco, Triple H has clearly left his balls in Connecticut. Oh Rocky, you still got it buddy.
Steph says the Rock wants to feed his ego because he knows without the McMahon’s there would be no Rock (she has a point). Steph starts naming off family members of the Rock’s and says they would be nobody without Vince McMahon, Vince McMahon Jr. and Stephanie McMahon (While Shane O’Mac chants break out). Damn she is so good at this.
Rock says Steph wouldn’t be in power without Vince’s penis basically, and Steph slaps him and asks what he’s going to do about it. She says it’s her stadium, her company and her people, and she tells the Rock to get the hell out right now. She keeps trash-talking the Rock as he steps out of the ring and then begins to make his way around the ringside area towards Ronda Rousey and her friends who are sitting ringside and… NO WAY THEY AREN’T GOING TO ACTUALLY DO THIS!
Rock looks at Rousey, back at Steph, and again at Rousey before the UFC Champ hops over the guard rail and fist bumps the Rock. Back into the ring the Rock and Rousey go and this is seriously incredible.
Loud “RONDA’S GONNA KILL YOU!” chants break out and everyone is eating this moment up.
Rocky tells Steph he would never hit a woman, but he does have a very good friend who would be happy to. Steph says okay Rock that’s a nice little surprise, but Ronda and her are friends, she’s a big fan of Rousey’s and she knows Rousey are a fan of hers and asks Rousey to tell Rock. Stephanie says she hopes Rock didn’t fill Rousey’s head with fake ideas of a Wrestlemania moment because it isn’t going to happy.
McMahon says Rousey is the Queen of the Octagon and in the world of MMA she would never try to mess with Ronda Rousey. But this is the squared circle, this is Steph’s ring, so she says unless Rousey is going to sit ringside and enjoy ‘Mania like a nice little fan, she can get the hell out of her ring.
Rousey on the mic now, and she tells Steph any ring she steps into is hers. If Steph wants Rousey to leave, she should make her. Honestly, this is phenomenal stuff.
Rock interrupts to tell Stephanie that the look that Rousey is making means, and I quote:
“She is going to reach down your throat, pull your insides out, and play jump-rope with your fallopian tubes.”
Trips says that’s the last thing he’s going to say about his wife and Rock agrees before unloading on Triple H in the corner and Trips walks into a hip toss from Rousey.
Stephanie turns the Champ around and tells her to get the hell out of her ring! She tries to slap Rousey but gets put into an arm-lock for her trouble and then tossed out of the ring as Rousey stares her down.
Rock hops on the mic and let’s Stephanie know that that’s called being owned.
And that my friends, is how you create a Wrestlemania moment. Awesome.
