Orton Get His Revenge on Rollins
Orton goes for the win quick and tries to hit an RKO but Rollins rolls out of the ring. Eventually Rollins takes control of the match but his arrogance allows Orton to turn the tides. But as is often the case in a Seth Rollins match, J&J Security got involved. Despite both Mercury and Noble eating DDT’s off the apron, Rollins was able to capitalize on the distraction and begin taking Orton apart.
Side note – I’m not sure what was more distracting throughout this match, Orton’s bright red tights or those bulky elbow pads he wore.
Eventually Orton was able to take control with an awesome reversal of the Curb Stomp into a suplex.
Not to be outdone, Rollins hit Orton with a massive kick to the head dropping him to the outside before hitting an INCREDIBLE moonsault on Orton outside of the ring.
As the match broke down, Orton hit Rollins out of nowhere with an RKO for the 1…2…ROLLINS KICKED OUT! Wow!
Orton looks on shocked but it’s not long until his demented brain is back working. Rollins begins crawling to the corner and Orton sets up for his patented punt to Rollins head but J&J Security get in the middle of it and both eat an RKO for their trouble.
While the match begins to break down, Rollins takes advantage and hits a HUGE Curb Stomp on Orton for the 1…2…NOW ORTON KICKS OUT! It’s Rollins turn to be shocked here and he heads up top to try and put Orton away.
Rollins goes for a 360 moonsault but Orton gets out of the way. Rollins rolls through and kicks Orton in the stomach and goes for a Curb Stomp THAT ORTONS REVERSES INTO ONE OF THE GREATEST RKO’S OF ALL TIME!
HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AMAZING. 1-2-3 ORTON GETS THE WIN! WOW! Now THAT is how you finish a match at Wrestlemania. Awesome.
Seriously, what a freaking RKO. Good luck topping that one.
