We reported yesterday that Tony Romo admitted that he was willing to restructure his contract in order to keep DeMarco Murray in Dallas.
Murray chose the Eagles, but according to various reports, Romo will have his 2015 salary turned into a bonus, saving Dallas $13 million.

By restructuring the contract, Dallas could have converted most of Romo’s 2015 salary into a signing bonus, effectively reducing his cap hit to just $1 million and pushing the largest cost into the future.
