According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, star WR and last year’s 4th overall draft choice, Sammy Watkins, underwent an offseason procedure on his hip area:

No word on how serious the injury was that prompted Watkins to choose to go under the knife, but it doesn’t take a doctor to know with the way Watkins plays football, the health of his hips are extremely important.
