A forty-year-old Jerry Stackhouse is no match for some of the better power forwards and wing guards in the NBA today.
Jerry Stackhouse — at 40 — against a bunch of wide-eye teenagers, is a throw back to his early years in the NBA.
The former Tar Heels great offered his services to some prep hoopers at a recent Adidas camp. Trying to show some of them the ropes, Stackhouse engaged them in a running game of one-on-one or ‘next’ in some neighborhoods.
The scorer stays on and keeps possession, while the defender bounces and someone steps up to have next. Stackhouse destroyed these young guys in a polo and sneakers, with comfort socks.
