A-Rod went and tied Willie Mays last night for 4th all-time on the home run list, and he did it in dramatic fashion.
Tied 2-2 in the 8th, Rodriguez stepped in as a pinch hitter and hit a solo shot right into the Monster seats at Fenway; his first ever pinch-hit home run.
The only problem? It was caught by a Red Sox fan who, in true Boston-fandom fashion, says he won’t give the ball back.
Mike Shuster, Sox fan who caught A-Rod’s 660th homer, tells Post he won’t give ball back to Rodriguez.

After the game the fan, named Mike Shuster, was seen speaking with the Yankees dugout. It had been assumed those were some sort of negotiations, but as it turns out, this fan is serious about keeping it for now.
In the video below he explains how he arrived late to the ballpark and bought the last single-seat Green Monster ticket available specifically so he could do this.
A-Rod didn’t even get the start and his wish still came true, now he can sell the ball for thousands. That’s one lucky dude.
