LeCharles Bentley played many years in the NFL, suffered plenty of injuries and has a warning for Kyrie Irving.
Pain management isn't simply a test of will, there are so many variables. Is there an injury or are you hurting, big diff.

So the doc tells Kyrie it's "just tendonitis"… Yea, I tore my patella from having "just tendonitis". I Tried to "tough it out"….

Possible shot at Dr. James Andrews in there?
Kyrie is 23-years-old, LeBron isn’t going anywhere for a while, so whatever happens he needs to take his long-term health into consideration.
Basketball is different from football, but you still need to be careful, because you don’t want to end up like Derrick Rose, where every time you go up for a basket people hold their breath hoping your legs are stable enough.
Just be smart about it.
