The wrestling world lost a legend when Dusty Rhodes passed away last week and after the emotional tribute the WWE did before Money in the Bank and on RAW it must have been a tough week for the Runnels family. Goldust posted a eulogy for his father that may truly touch you.

The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was as old school as they come but when I started watching wrestling I really didn’t care much for him. He wasn’t really interesting to me as a kid and I was honestly kind of annoyed by his character. Of course, that was dumb kid-me. As I started to become more of a smart fan and rolling the internet getting all the scoops, I noticed how Rhodes was always being talked about. Dusty was involved in backstage bookings and well respected by all the wrestlers. The more I learned about him the more I gained respect for what he did behind the scenes. I also saw some of his older stuff and then I got mad at the WWF for the way they used him. We can all understand how hard it is to stay in that business for all those years and Dusty maintained through so many different eras. We here at BSO send our condolences to the Runnels family and thanks for all the entertainment you brought us. Respect.
