On Monday Kim Kardashian made the news for something rather awesome, instead of the regular Kardashian/Jenner news we’re so accustomed too.
Kim K rented out the Staples Center for Kanye West’s birthday so that him and all of his friends could have free run of the building, playing all the pickup games they wanted on the Lakers home floor. The participants included Justin Bieber, Tyga, and actual NBA referees to officiate the game will Lakers cheerleaders as well.
Kim was able to get a handful of stars — including Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Shaquille O’Neal to send video messages to Kanye on the JumbroTron.
The Deisel sent his bornday wish in the form of a freestyle over the beat from ‘Ye’s hit song, “Runaway.” Only Shaq could somehow include a shot at Kobe during 16 bars.
“Staples Center, that was me/2001 to 2003,” he rapped. “MVP, I did it by myself/Can’t you tell by my accumulated wealth?”
Shaq had some really dominant years during that period, but the Lakers don’t three-peat at all without the help of high flying, super intense sidekick.
After listening to it a few times, I’ve come to the conclusion that the freestyle was no accident.
