Tyus Battle originally committed to the University of Michigan back in May, but he reopened his recruitment in June after he rushed the process.
Battle took official visits to Duke and Louisville, but Syracuse stole his heart.

The 6-foot-6 guard is listed as the 27th player of the 2016 class, according to ESPN.
For Cuse fans who aren’t familiar with Battle’s game, he was kind enough to describe it.
“I’m a guard who can score, and I love to get to the basket,” Battle said while describing his game. “I can knock down open shots, have a midrange game and get after it defensively.”
