He should have never been suspended for so long, but six months away was most likely the best thing for everyone involved, including his family.
According to Richard Deitsch of SI.com, Greg Anthony has been reinstated as a broadcaster by Turner Sports.
“I’d like to thank my family for their continued support,” Anthony said. “I’m looking forward to returning to my role as a basketball analyst and I’m grateful to Turner Sports and the NBA for this opportunity. ”
Anthony will start out with the NBA Summer League in Orlando from July 4-10. His first appearance will be Saturday at 9 a.m. ET for the Heat-Pacers game.
It’s unknown what this means for Anthony long-term.
On. Jan. 16, Anthony was arrested at a Washington D.C. hotel on suspicion of trying to solicit a prostitute.
