Thankfully, for both him and for us as fans; Kevin Durant hasn’t had to deal with many injuries during the length of his NBA career.
Last season was a rarity, as Durant was forced to miss a total of 55 games thanks to a faulty foot. His stat line was it’s usual impressive self when healthy though, via the Score:
In the 27 games he was healthy enough to suit up for, Durant averaged 25.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists while shooting 51 percent from the field and 40.3 percent from behind the arc.
Durant was then ruled out for the rest of the season after it was declared he would need bone-graft surgery on his foot. He watched along with us, as OKC ultimately succumbed to the rash of injuries that plagued their 2014-2015 campaign.
Asked Kevin Durant if Thunder needed anything other than health to contend for West title: "That's it."

This year, though, KD sounds enthusiastic to get started, and more importantly confident that he has healed completely.
Kevin Durant on his foot: "I'm feeling great. I can go 100 percent."

The Thunder will need all hands on deck if they want to make it out of the West, but such is the case for every team.
Health is the key. Only time will tell.
