Wait….What?
I can only go by what my eyes saw when I was ringside of the fight. Pacquiao didn’t seem to be in any discomfort, he threw punches like he always does, they were just inaccurate because of Mayweather’s brilliance.
I never thought his shoulder injury was that serious and felt it was a convenient excuse for such a poor performance.
The fact he hasn’t done any rehab and says his shoulder 100% now is really all the proof you need.
“No problem,” said Pacquiao displaying full vertical extension on his arm during a break at the 2019 FIBA World Cup bidding event in Tokyo last Friday. “I’m fine. It’s God’s work. I never saw a doctor. I never did rehab. All I did was to swim in the sea as often as I could. The salt water healed my wound.”
With the saltwater shoulder, Pacquiao is talking about facing Amir Khan in March. If that fight does take place, there will be no Mayweather rematch if Floyd does decide to go for 50-0.
