The news is optimistic for the Wildcats star linebacker.
SI’s Brian Hamilton reported Saturday that Scooby Wright had surgery to clean up a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee, and would be out at least two weeks.

Wright suffered the injury in Arizona’s season opener. Wright was named preseason All-America after a monster 2014 campaign that earned him the Chuck Bednarik Award and First-Team All-Pac-12 honors.
