Charlie Strong believes players shouldn’t be on their phones during halftime. Not for nothing, we expected that goes without saying.
When we see games, we only see management using devices to obviously communicate during game time. It’s obviously assumed that players don’t use their phones till after game time. Texas Coach Charlie Strong however discussed one player, freshman cornerback Kris Boyd. He was basically caught tweeting during halftime.
Apparently during halftime, we just chill on Twitter. pic.twitter.com/BqhYt4XRvm

After the game, Strong spoke with reporters and basically said the following:
“Players should not be on their phones at halftime.”
The itch to use your phone must be grave but learn how to prioritize and put the phone away.
#Texas DB Kris Boyd on the RT: "I deeply regret my actions and want to reassure everyone that I am 100% committed to this team and program."
