Penn State running back Saquon Barkley shall be known as “Air” from this day forward.
On 1st-and-goal from the Illinois 7-yard line, Barkley took the handoff and bounced to the outside, before being met by three Illinois defenders.
Rather than go down, Barkley made a business decision — leaping over all his defenders.
Barkley ran for 84 yards and a touchdown in Penn State’s 39-0 victory over Illinois.
