The plan was to stop the Golden State Warriors from going 16-0 tonight, except that didn’t happen. The Warriors continued their hot streak and made NBA history with the best record to start a season.
Bryant and Lakers were out of sorts tonight never finding a rhythm. The Mamba owned his shooting woes, but explains he’s not the problem.

Bryant was 1-14 from the field including going 1-7 from distance scoring a season low 4 points.
Okay dropping 80 probably not going to happen for Kobe today, but he hinted to something that the Lakers have yet to find, an identity. Lakers coach Byron Scott has been searching to find a unit that plays consistently hard.
The current rebirth going on in Laker land with their infusion of young talent in D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle have to see more playing time late in games for the Lakers to be competitive going forward.
Those days of Bryant carrying the Lakers night in and night out are over, so Scott has to give some of that responsibility to his young core.
To echo what Bryant said tonight, dropping 80 wouldn’t of prevented stopping the ball movement of the Warriors.
