Richard Sherman is never shy to tell you how he feels even though he has been pretty quiet this season but we should not read any sign of maturity or weakness into it. Sherman says he is getting credit for his play that’s the reason we haven’t heard from him.
“I’m as vocal as they come. You’ve got to have something to talk about. Like I’ve always said, I think you guys have tried to make stories out of it. I’m more of a responder. I don’t go after anybody, I don’t go say hey. If somebody wants to say something outrageous and outlandish to me, I’d happily put them right back in their seat. That’s just how it’s always been. People say, ‘Oh, he’s not as talkative as he once was,’ because nobody’s been disrespectful. Respect gets respect. Disrespect gets disrespect. It’s always been that way, but there’s been no disrespect so there’s no reason for me to say anything. It’s been calm.”
If you have any doubt that Sherman is still a confident player maybe you should just visit his social media pages, Sherman shared an article about how phenomenal he has been playing this season. He didn’t write the story but didn’t bother mentioning it in his posts letting us know he agrees with the content of that article.

You have to love Sherman, he is staying true to himself. The Seahawks are peaking right now, Sherman is still a valuable member of that defense and Russell Wilson seems to have his groove back.
