A woman has file a new civil lawsuit against Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette — accusing him of injuring her while forcibly removing her from his home in January per ESPN.com.

Galette was arrested and charged with misdemeanor simple battery/domestic violence while he was still a member of the New Orleans Saints.

Galette — out for the year with a torn Achilles — was suspended two games by the NFL for his role in the incident.

The woman originally filed a civil suit against Galette in February alleging three years of sexual, physical and mental abuse. That suit was dismissed in August when the woman failed to pursue the case in court or hire a new attorney after her original attorney withdrew from the case, saying she had been “uncooperative and inaccessible.”

The new lawsuit deals primarily with accusations of physical abuse on that morning of Jan. 5. Galette’s accuser said he began to beat and strangle her as she was packing her belongings after he demanded she leave his home. She said he threw her to the floor and continued to kick, scratch and punch her, ripping an earring out of her earlobe and causing it to split.

Galette has consistently denied the accusations.

His attorney thanked god after the first suit was dismissed.
