Drake has a close relationship with John Calipari and the Wildcats. He goes to games, gives them shout outs and even showed up to homecoming in full gear shooting airballs. Having one of the biggest musicians supporting you should be a good thing but it hasn’t been.
We know how the NCAA goes and there’s a violation for anything. For the 2nd time Kentucky had to report a minor rules violation involving Drake.
Kentucky.com reported, Wildcats guard Tyler Ulis took a picture with Drake at his concert and that photo is considered a level III NCAA rules violation for “preferential treatment”.
Ulis was declared ineligible but was reinstated on Oct. 14. UK’s compliance office has sent Drake a cease-and-desist letter.
Drake is just a fan enjoying Kentucky basketball so can anything be done to stop him from recognizing the team and the players?
