Tomorrow the Golden State Warriors will square off with the Cleveland Cavaliers; this will be the 2nd match up of the Finals rematch from last year. This time it will be where Stephen Curry made history and won his first title. The Warriors are in a slump by their standard as they loss two of their last three including a 18 point lost last night against the Detroit Pistons.
If the Warriors needed a little extra spark to get them back on track, you can bet that Curry is a little excited to return to the arena he won his first title as Diamond Leung reports from Bay Area News “”Obviously, walking in the locker room, it’ll be good memories,” Curry said Sunday. “Hopefully, it still smells a little bit like champagne.”
The Warriors look to finish the season sweep as they won at home on Christmas day against the Cavs 89-83. The Cavaliers went 5-1 on a six game road trip, and are looking forward to get even with the defending champs.
Draymond Green even admits that his emotions will be running high when he returns to the arena. “Definitely high emotions,” Green said. “At the same time, knowing their emotions are running high as well. We’ve definitely got some great memories in that building, but that means nothing for tomorrow. We’ve got to come out with an edge.” Most likely this will turn out to be another great matchup
