The UFC only took a day to name Conor McGregor’s replacement opponent for UFC 196 but it seemed like much longer.
The speculation can come to an end, Nate Diaz will step into the octagon against Mystic Mac.
The UFC had their eye on Nate Diaz all along but the catch weight for the fight is what took awhile to decide. In true Conor McGregor fashion he grew tired of the constant back and forth, so he told Nate Diaz to come in at a comfortable 170 lbs.
This’ll be the first welterweight fight of Conor McGregor’s career & it means that McGregor will be the strongest he’s ever been for the fight on March 5th.
Now that’s scary.
