Former defensive tackle William “The Refrigerator” Perry is recovering after being recently hospitalized for a leg infection. The infection was found in Perry’s leg back in January when he was trying to get a refill on his medication for his diabetes
” I feel great” said Perry. via Jeff Dickerson of ESPN “I’m moving around everything is getting better, so I can’t complain. Sometimes the stuff I have swells off and needs a little treatment.”
Perry was a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears who went 15-1 during the regular season and went on to defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX 46-10 under Coach Mike Ditka. He was a member of the Bears from 1985-1993.
