When you are a rising star like Hassan Whiteside, with a name as long as his, you need a nickname. It’s like a coming of age thing and it’s something that should be given to you organically.
He may have already been hearing these nicknames, but Whiteside has announced the nicknames he is considering:

Alright, let’s check them out, even though it’s a bit silly he is taking it this serious. I can’t promise I wouldn’t do the same thing in his position.

So we are left with Agent Block, Blockology, or Blocktopus. Out of all of those Blocktopus has the most potential. It isn’t a perfect science, but when it’s right, you definitely know it.
