After 20 years in the NBA, Kobe Bryant is days away from retirement. The Lakers have four games left On their schedule and Kobe expected his last game to be full of emotions for the fan and himself.
“When the time comes, you never know. I mighty be sitting here with tears flowing out of my eyes. I doubt it, but it could happen. I don’t know. We’ll see.”
Seeing Kobe cry would be an extremely rare sight. He’s one of the most competitive athletes in the world and we have never seen his emotional side.
According to TheScore.com, Kobe plans to approach his last game, April 13 against the Utah Jazz, just like he has every game during his career.
“I won’t allow it to be any different, one more time going through the same routine. Same group of people. One more time.”
Kobe can play hard as long as he wants to but there is no way the 20-year vet, 18-time NBA All-Star, 5-time NBA Champion and future Hall-of-Famer goes without shedding a tear during his last game.
