With showing no signs of budging, Dana White remains adamant that he’ll not reinsert Conor McGregor back into the UFC 200 main event card. But there’s one person who continues to remain optimistic.
According to MMAFighting.com, John Kavanagh, who’s the coach for McGregor stated on The MMA Hour that he remains optimistic in the belief that McGregor’ name will be reinserted back into the UFC 200 card:
I’m 51 percent optimistic and 49 percent pessimistic, if you want to know my feelings on it,
At some stage you’ve gotta see that maybe it’s pointless to upset so many fans that want to see this fight and ignore the kind of numbers that are gonna be brought in
With the ball being thrown back into White’s court, it’d be interesting to see whether or not he’ll fold under the pressure and place McGregor’s name back into the card.
Then again, has there ever been a fighter in UFC history who was able to get the upper hand over White? I don’t think so.
