Do you remember He Hate Me? If you don’t, about 15 years ago Vince McMahon tried to start his own football league modeled after the dazzling, spectacular, entertainment of the WWE. The league produced semi-famous players like He Hate Me (Rod Smart), The Truth (Rashan Sheehee) and Super C (Craig Powell). The XFL also featured commentary from Jim Ross and some of the most risque cheerleaders you will ever see. It was different from the NFL and had some early success, but only lasted one year mostly due to the quality of play.
Well, according to comments from Jonathan Coachman on The Ross Report podcast, ESPN is planning a 30 for 30 about the XFL.
