Even if you are trying to score 60 points it is hard to do, if it was easy more people would have done it especially in games that don’t mean much.
It is specifically harder to do when your entire body is breaking down, it is the last game of the season, the last game of your career and your team was losing the majority of the game.
Kobe has a right to be impressed with himself.
Kobe on his last game: "I still can't believe it happened. I don't know where the hell it came from. There were no signs of that happening."

Critics of Kobe will point to what they always point to, the number of shots, but even though Kobe started the game pretty badly he ended up shooting 44%, which is just a little under his career average of 45%.
He also led the Lakers 2nd half comeback from a double-digit deficit, which is what PRIME KOBE did a lot when he didn’t have the best of teammates.
So, let the man have his moment in the sun, it was his final moment and one that won’t be duplicated any time soon.
