Maybe seeking out Jobu was a bad idea.
Indians catcher Yan Gomes has been struggling lately so in order to break the slump, his teammates decided he should seek out ‘Jobu’ in hopes of breaking it, but that was a bad idea.
In Sunday’s afternoon game against the Twins, Gomes suffered apparent injuries to his shoulder and leg running out a ground ball and would fall to the ground afterwards.
