Mark Cuban has been getting some flack for his MAVS 101 class for women. The Mavericks twitter account sent out the tweet to promote the annual camp created to give women fans tips on the sport. However when publicizing this time, the social media received more backlash than usual. With fans far and wide ripping the camp.
Mark Cuban decided to respond to the criticism him and the team has received and whether the name is offense to women.
“We asked some of our customers a few years back if we should change the name. They requested we didn’t.”
The tweet sent out to publicize the event was equally offense and didn’t help.
