The NFL has been pretty strict on their new celebration rules this year, and players are still trying to figure out how they can celebrate without penalizing their team. Redskins cornerback Josh Norman got penalized for pretending to shoot a bow and arrow earlier n the season, but he might have figured out a way to still have fun on the field after he makes a good play by using beer.
“I’ll say this,” Norman said in the Washington locker room after practice on Thursday, when asked for a hint. “Since they sell beer on TV while kids are watching it, I’m thinking I might open a keg on the field, and I’m going to drink it on the field. And I don’t see that being on the rule book.”
Norman makes a good point, but no one knows if he’s serious or not, according to the rulebook Norman might can get away with it, as long as he doesn’t use the ball as a prop, and doesn’t use his teammates for an “excessive” period of time he should be in the clear. So in better words if he opens up an imaginary keg of beer and drink it by himself he shouldn’t be penalized or will he?
