Brandon Marshall is thoroughly enjoying his time with the Jets and feels that he’s not finished. With the trade deadline approaching, may the wide receiver find himself elsewhere? He certainly hopes not.
The Jets were on a mission this week to not be taken down by the Browns. In what was an exciting game to watch, the Jets put on a show as they came to dominate the game and add to their win column. Don’t count the Jets out just yet. As we had speculated, Bryce Petty would be the backup quarterback over Christian Hackenberg and the young quarterback proved a lot of things. The Jets did some major things during yesterday’s game.
As the trade deadline is creeping up on us, Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall didn’t catch a touch down yesterday but he feels that his job with the Jets isn’t done. In other words, he does not want to be traded. In case you didn’t know, the trade deadline is tomorrow at 4 pm.
Marshall doesn’t think he’s going anywhere. He doesn’t want to be go anywhere.
“I would be disappointed if I was traded,” Marshall said after the Jets’ 31-28 win over the Cleveland Browns. “I love it here. I want to finish what we started here with coach Todd Bowles.”
Finding humor in it, Marshall added, “I love the ownership. I’m about to say the opposite of what Ryan Fitzpatrick said [last week]. I love my coaches. I love my teammates. To be honest, I like [the media], which is tough.”
We will find out soon, in a day to be exact, if Marshall is traded.
