According to CBS Local 8 News William Riley Gaul and his 16-year-old girlfriend Emma Walker ended their relationship earlier in the day. Unable to accept the relationship was over Gaul waited until she was asleep, and fired gunshots into her bedroom window killing her.  Following the shooting Gaul returned home and began tweeting about how much he loved her. Gaul, who is a wide receiver at Maryville College, was charged with murder on Wednesday after Walker was found dead inside her home in Knoxville, Tennessee. Believing his would destroy evidence, detectives had Gaul under surveillance and ultimately arrested him in the parking lot of a local apartment complex.
