Conor McGregor had a lot to say in this video and he made sure he covered all of the recent events surrounding his boxing license and his featherweight belt being allegedly stripped by the UFC.
Here are some of his most flavorful comments transposed by TMZ:
“If I focus with the work ethic I have solely on the sport of boxing, there’s no telling what I could do,” McGregor said.
“I would not go in there just to show up, I’d go in there to knock [Floyd] out. That’s it. He can be hit, he’s been hit before. Age waits for no man.”
“I know the size is on my side, I know the reach is on my side, I know the youth is on my side.”
He also talked about not actually being stripped of his featherweight title by the UFC, stating he has the belt at his home. One of the funniest moments in the video above came when someone asked if he plans to fight boxer Paulie Malignaggi and McGregor’s response was:
WHO THE F**K IS THAT GUY?!!
McGregor seems to be focused on playing up the boxing license angle as much as possible to force the UFC to grant him an ownership stake or more lucrative paydays, but unless he actually lands a meaningful boxing match I don’t see them budging.
