Rams need a coach with star power, a winning track record, who knows how to groom QBs into stars and has some personality.
Harbaugh fits the mold even if it is unlikely that he will be leaving Michigan any time soon.
Albert Breer was the first to mention that Rams will reach out to Harbaugh but also clarified his remarks to say that doesn’t mean Harbaugh will be going to LA.
To be clear … I never said Harbaugh was going anywhere. I believe he'll eventually be back in the NFL. Until then, teams will pursue him. https://t.co/f67iLlwmSo

Harbaugh has been known to leave situations when a better one comes up, so I wouldn’t be shocked if in the future if he left Michigan, but not now. It is a pretty good gig and he can lord over that campus in a way he could never do in the NFL.
