Let me guess, now that the election is over, Mr. Paladino’s feelings have changed a bit!
The former Donald Trump campaign official who wrote that he wanted to see Barack Obama die of mad cow disease and Michelle Obama living with a gorilla in Africa — now is claiming it was more of a WWE stunt — claiming those comments weren’t meant for publication but “inappropriate.”
Paladino, a millionaire developer and former co-chairman of Trump’s New York campaign tried to express his regret for insulting the First Lady on Tuesday per the Associated Press.
“I never intended to hurt the minority community who I spent years trying to help out of the cycle of poverty in our inner cities. To them I apologize,” Paladino wrote.
Seconds later though, he referred to President Obama as a “traitor” to American Values — thus cancelling out his apologetic statement to Michelle.
“I don’t intend to yield to the fanatics among my adversaries. I certainly am not a racist,” he wrote.
Paladino also said for the first time that he never meant to make his comments public — insisting they were just for friends, as if that made the comments better or more acceptable.
