Several outlets, including ESPN, are reporting that Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura has died at 25 in a car crash today in his native Dominican Republic.
Yordano was a hard throwing righty, whose fastball often reached triple digits on the radar gun. He was a key member of the Royals post season success in 2014 and 2015.
