Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz may be joining forces again. According to ESPN, the Jazz have reached out to Dallas about acquiring point guard Deron Williams. Williams has been dealing with injuries yet again this season, which has led to the emergence of exciting young point guard Yogi Ferrell.
The Jazz may be looking to shore up their point guard position, since George Hill has had his own injury problems. Deron Williams had his best years with Utah, earning several All Star selections and leading the Jazz to four playoff appearances. Issues with then coach Jerry Sloan, forced Utah to trade Williams to New Jersey in 2011.
A frame-work for a deal has not been announced, but Dallas is looking to trade Williams and Andrew Bogut before the February 23rd deadline.
